hey. i am not sure if this is just me or what but my gmail will not let me sign in. It won't even let me go to the page where you put in your email and password. Are any of you having this issue? I wonder what is going on...
This started after I restarted my computer. Sometimes after I restart, I have to re sign in to gmail and other websites. But if i just log off of my computer, it keeps me signed in...
I'm not having the issue, because I don't use Gmail, but here is what happens different from log off and restart.
Restart clears all open items, so closes them. Log out leaves them open, you are just gone for a bit, so it retains your doings.
If your log on problem continues, clear the browsers history.
Are you using Jaws 15? I've had this issue a few times, Usually I leave Gmail logged in always, but from time to time, I reset history, ETC, and need to sign back in. THis can be difficult with j15!
I've found that with routing jaws to pc, I can find the sign in button, and left click it. It can take one or two times for this to work! Annoying for sure.
I've had something like this before. Try hitting shift enter on the sign in link instead of just enter.
Shift enter worked out. Thanks you guys. I am using an older internet on IE because I am the worst for updating my computer... I am also using jaws 13 because I refuse to pay for an update... LOL... I am just waiting for my pc to choke on its dust and crash so i will be force to fully rely on my MacBook Erre.
I wished I had someone in my life to just hand the keys over and ask them to fix it all up for me but nope...
Kind of funny coming from someone who is in such control of her own life and rarely gives anything up to anyone else for management.
But we can't do it all.
I use gmail but have it set up so that all emails go directly into my outlook express in box. This way I don't have to worry about logging in. You might want to consider doing this if you have outlook or outlook express.
I've had this problem as well, using Jaws 15 and IE 11. But in Firefox, it works fine, so it must be an issue with IE rather than Jaws.
I had that issue for the first time a few days ago; I ended up having to run CCleaner and clear all cache and cookies in order to get it to work again. When I had the issue, it was using Jaws 15 and the latest version of Firefox.
I do not like outlook and don't use it but thanks for the tip. I have it set up to go to my 5s but I still like to check it on my computer...
